Existing home sales fell 2.5% between October and November on a seasonally adjusted basis to 6.69 million annualized units. Sales of existing homes are still up 25.8% from a year earlier, the trade association said. ___This story has been corrected to say that sales of existing homes totaled a seasonally adjusted 6.69 million units in November and the average sale price was $310,800.

It set the tone for the entire game, which Westfield took 42-24 to advance to the third round of the 6A-I playoffs. Klein Cain, though, was able to answer. Klein Cain intercepted the very next pass by Williams, but the Mustangs defense forced a punt to start the 2nd quarter. Still, Klein Cain has one of the most explosive offenses in Houston for a reason. Coming off its first ever playoff win last week, Klein Cain was poised to get revenge.

If you play for Westfield coach Billy Goffney, you better have a motor. The 'Stangs play football on the basketball court. Westfield went 33-4 and undefeated in district play, before falling in the fourth round to Killeen Ellison. Lonzo Rand, Eli Lee and Tre Jackson have graduated off of last year's team, but Goffney does return Willie Williams – a walking double-double. Now, it's their team as they try and hold off the likes of Eisenhower and Dekaney for the district title.

The Eisenhower Eagles got a big overtime win over a tough Nimitz squad 33-27 to go 3-1 in district play. RB Waymon Finley led the way on the ground with some punishing runs. Next up for Ike is MacArthur, while Nimitz faces Westfield.

H-Town High School Sports made its debut this past week on AT&T Sportsnet and with that came the first Team of the Week presented by Allegiance Bank. Last week's accolade went to the Spring Lions Football team who is undefeated this season. Check out this piece on the HAIL MARY against Westfield.

Dekaney brings back their district MVP Quarterback, while the Aldine ISD programs will try and battle their way into the playoff picture in a top-heavy district. Also, watch for first-team, all-district linebacker Ashton Harris (74 tackles, six sacks) and second-teamers CB Kayden Craig and S Jayden Perkins. First-team Quarterback Aldyn Bradley is back after finishing second in the district in rushing (1,196 yards) and passed for 987 yards and racked up 33 total touchdowns. Roy was a first-team, all-district pick a year ago.

Westfield says it has been using its parking lots to draw crowds for years, with circuses, ice skating rinks and car shows. Kilburn Live, another production company, has turned five mall parking lots into drive-ins and is adding others. Walmart, noticing the trend, added drive-in movies to 160 of its parking lots where people can order snacks ahead of time from the store. And it’s also considering renting out parts of its parking lots to companies that want to hold drive-in meetings with their employees.

SPRING, Texas – Spring ISD announced multiple suspensions Monday for a brawl during a high school football game Friday night between Spring and Westfield at Leonard George Stadium. Spring ISD Athletic Director Willie Amendola said it started when a Spring player reacted to a series of calls against him. On Monday, Spring ISD officials announced that six players from Westfield and five players from Spring High were suspended for a total of 18 games. Four Westfield players were suspended for two games and two players were suspended for one game. One Spring player was suspended for three games, one player was suspended for two games and three players were suspended for one game.

SPRING, Texas – A fight broke out during a high school football game between Spring and Westfield on Friday at Leonard George Stadium. It's unclear what started the fight or if anyone was injured. A witness said the police with the Spring Independent School District Police Department and referees broke up the fight. The Spring Independent School District released the following statement Saturday:"The behavior displayed on the field does not represent our expectations for good sportsmanship and conduct. We'll be working with the UIL to determine appropriate sanctions and recourse."
